How good is Spring in Brisbane?!  Beautiful weather, we are not (currently) in lockdown and it’s almost at the point where we might get a little respite from the masks.  Let’s cross our fingers! We have had a very busy week and weekend of rubbish removal and it’s only going to ramp up from here on in for junk removal in Brisbane because it’s garage clearout time.

If you’ve lived in Brisbane for a while you will realise spring is all about the garage clearout and under house clean up while the weather is cool.  Note that our trucks fit just about anywhere including low height situations. Getting ready for junk collection before Brisbane starts to get muggy and hot.  Garage sales galore and then we do the pickup of everything that was left behind.  And the garden green waste is a common job at this time of year although we are getting past the big-pruning time.  If you missed getting into the garden in the last weeks of winter then you might want to book that in now as the hedges and tree limbs always need a good pruning before the spring growth.  It might be a little too late if you leave it much longer.

Well, judging by the number of enquiries we’ve had over the last week we know what everyone has been doing in lockdown – clearing out junk and rubbish! Popular items are fridges, mattresses and old couches. Of course – because these items are heavy and take up a lot of space.  It’s great to be able to cart these items away for our Brisbane clients.  We all lead such busy lives that those annoying household chores and errands often stay on the to-do list for a while.  There’s always something more important to take up our time.  But when we are forced to stop … there’s suddenly a lot of things around the house that need to be sorted (am I right?).  Well, you should know that it really is just a phone call to get these things sorted.  Household rubbish removals shouldn’t be a hassle at all when you let the professionals take care of it.

Well if the last week is anything to go by, green waste removals in Brisbane will be top of the to-do list right now.  And the recent rubbish removal enquiries confirm this.  After the storm cleanup there are many piles of garden rubbish requiring removal from residential backyards as the weekend will have been spent cleaning up.

With the storm dropping a few branches around the place and in some cases entire trees, you may have spent the weekend revving up the chainsaw.  Don’t worry if you’re left with a pile of branches and tree logs and you’re wondering what to do with them – we can help with just a phone call.

If the hail in Brisbane managed to knock a few leaves off the trees around the garden then you would have also been raking up those pesky small twigs, bark and leaves that end up all over the lawn.  Again, one phone call and we’ll have it gone.

Springfield has certainly kept us busy with cleanups from damaged homes unfortunately.  It’s incredible what a storm can do in Brisbane.  We are seeing all the insurance companies out and about as we show up to collect broken roof tiles, plasterboard and the like.  Wishing all the best to those affected and we hope the insurance claims come through quickly.
